The Press Conference of the 8th International Stationery Exhibition (Iranpenex 2023) Was Held
The 8th International Exhibition of Stationery and Engineering Equipment of Iran, Iranpenex 2023 (iranpenex2023), and the 2nd Specialized Irantoyex 2023 (irantoyex 2023) Exhibition, centered around the slogan “Think Bigger Together,” were planned with the support of the Association of Employers and Manufacturers of Stationery Products of Iran, the Union of Stationery and Engineering Equipment Sellers of Tehran, the Association of Stationery Importers of Iran, and the Toy Association.
The exhibitions were organized by Avapik Tahrir Iranian Company and were scheduled to be held at the permanent Aftab International Exhibition Center in Tehran from June 21 to June 24, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The exhibition was planned across four indoor halls covering an area of 20,000 square meters, with more than 250 participating companies.
According to the event’s plans, companies active in stationery, engineering, and office equipment were scheduled to exhibit in Halls A4, A5, and the Nations Hall, while companies presenting educational products, toys, and related industries were scheduled to participate in Hall A6.
The presence of representatives from neighboring and other countries, including Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, India, China, Azerbaijan, and Russia, further contributed to the development and international appeal of the exhibition.
The unveiling of knowledge-based products in the stationery and toy industries, in line with the national focus on controlling inflation and promoting production, was one of the key features of this event.
This edition of the exhibition featured a wide range of sectors related to the stationery industry, including writing products, various types of notebooks, engineering equipment, different types of adhesives, promotional gifts, office and filing supplies, school and office equipment, office machines, educational technology industries, smart-school solutions, bags, backpacks, luggage, as well as related startups and knowledge-based companies.
The toy industry was also represented by companies active in children’s and teenagers’ educational and intellectual games, entertainment products, and related industries.
It was expected that more than 3,000 specialized visitors and professionals from the relevant industries and trade sectors would attend the exhibition each day.
Key visitors were expected to include purchasing managers and officials from government organizations and private companies, managers of shopping centers and retail chains, stationery and toy store owners and managers, cultural managers, university professors and students in art, industrial design, and architecture, art school managers, educational centers and institutions, publishers and bookstores across the country, school and kindergarten managers, wholesalers, distribution and sales managers, sales intermediaries, advertising companies, printing and packaging centers, and professionals involved in related industries such as mold-making and product modeling.
The press conference also featured a speech by Majid Akbari, CEO of Iranpenex, regarding the objectives and plans of the exhibition.
Among the major objectives of the 8th Iranpenex Exhibition and the 2nd Irantoyex Exhibition were presenting the latest capabilities and technologies in the stationery and toy industries, developing the domestic market and adopting a strategic approach toward regional markets, exporting Iranian-made products that meet international quality and standards, expanding international cooperation and joint ventures, transferring knowledge and technology within the stationery and toy industries, developing joint production to improve product quality, connecting industry professionals with traders, and identifying new markets.
The Iranpenex and Irantoyex exhibitions were organized in three sections:
- Main Exhibition Section
- Content and Educational Section
- Hamnevesht Event
The main section of the exhibition was dedicated to introducing companies and showcasing products and brands.
The second section consisted of specialized panels and scientific and educational seminars focusing on areas such as exports, imports, marketing, and sales.
The third section featured the Hamnevesht Event, dedicated to bringing together and honoring prominent figures and professionals who have contributed to the development of the stationery industry.
The organizers expressed hope that the participation of all groups and professionals connected to the stationery and related industries would contribute to greater dynamism in production and support the country’s economic growth during this edition of the exhibition.
